DropPet® AD One | Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester
DropPet® AD One | Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester
INCI Name: Alpha-Arbutin
Acetyl dipeptide-1 cetyl ester is a derivative of tyrosin dipeptide, which stimulates endorphins (happiness transmitters) and soothes skin discomfort. It also relaxes muscles and prevents wrinkles by stimulating the release of neurotransmitters. Beta-endorphins and MET-enkephalins are neuropeptides that downregulate nerve and muscle activity, and neurotransmitters that relax cells. In this experiment, human keratinocytes were incubated with the anti-sensitive dipeptide LIpo-ArG-Tyr for 24 hours. The changes in POMC (pro-Opiomelanocortin) gene expression (a precursor of β-endorphin and Met-enkephalin) were determined by RT-PCR. POMC has more gene expression, that is, more production of neurotransmitters that make cells loose.
DropPet® AD One reduces skin sensitivity and modulates the perception of unpleasant sensations such as cold, heat, and irritation, and can be used in sensitive muscle care products.
